Domesticity Folds (Senior BFA Review 2021)

It's a very sensual act recreating your Vulva. You really have to know yourself, really have to study your own body in order to recreate it from memory. Its something so delicate, unique, and sacred. Even though I create the folds from memory, I am remembering the plethora of labias that I have studied before. The shapes and intricate crevices are never exactly the same. That is what makes them so unique and beautiful. The folds of the fabric, the way that the fabric feels against my hands, against my body, all play a part in the process of making. Each one is beautiful. Each touch intentional in attempting to get to the climax. It is a delicacy trying to create something that is so beautiful and unique, but still, I'm playing with chance because I never know how it's going to come out. I only know that I'll be satisfied.
